A Mother’s Legacy began in 2023 as a personal journal to process my grievances after losing a son unexpectedly. While trying to make sense of why this happened to me and my family I found that I was preaching the gospel to myself, hanging on by the weakest grip to my lifeline, Jesus Christ.

What started off as a way to process my grief, quickly turned into a passion project for my children, a transparent map of their mother’s walk with Jesus Christ. My unfiltered reality of faith was messy and hard, yet overflowing with grace.

Then God! As the manuscript came together, the Holy Spirit kept bringing me back to the parable of the talents, whispering like a command,“Don’t bury your talent.”
